Throughout Spain, it is customary to partner a small plate of regional finger foods with a delicious glass of wine or cider while socializing with friends. This unique Spanish tradition, known as “Tapas,” originated centuries ago when King Alfonso X, el Sabio or "the Wise One," ordered Castilian taverns to serve wine accompanied by something to eat, so customers could avoid illness (hangover). Today, this distinct style of food is an international sensation - offered at bars, cafes and restaurants around the globe. 

HHC Personal Chef Services offers a Tapas Experience at Home, which is a grand way of entertaining family and friends within the privacy of your own abode. Each party is carefully planned, so we may help you design a customized menu, plus discuss other details to ensure that your get-together is a memorable experience for all who attend.

Prior to your festive event, your living space will be transformed into a Mediterranean Escape, so you may take a break from reality for a moment of time. As your guests arrive, they will be greeted with indigenous sounds, a tasty beverage and outstanding hospitality. Chef Joseph will continue with the history of tapas while preparing authentic dishes for you and your guests to sample and savor. What a fun way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, or other special event!

Chef Joseph prefers to keep his parties small and intimate, anywhere from 6- 10 guests, so he may truly share his passion for cooking with you and your amigos.

Each event includes fresh, local (when possible) ingredients, party set-up, cooking demonstrations and clean-up. Yes, you don’t have to lift a finger since HHC Personal Chef Services will focus on your needs before, during, and after your Tapas Experience at Home. Now that’s a party!
